GNMS-1500D Pipe Jacking Slurry Separation Desander Plant for Asia Client

GN Solids Control finished a package of GNMS-1500D Pipe Jacking Slurry Separation Desander Plant for an Asia Client. GNMS-1500D is a 1500GPM capacity desanding plant. GN Solids Control D series desanding plants are mainly used for below applications:

1. GN Solids Control D series desanding plant can be used for trenchless and HDD Projects.
2. GN Solids Control D series desanding plant can be used for Bored Pile Project.
3. GN Solids Control D series desanding plant can be used for Micro tunneling and TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine).
4. GN Solids Control D series desanding plant can be used for Diamond Drilling, Water Well Drilling etc.

2022.01.18 GNMS-1500D Desander Plant 2

There is a Desander cyclone, a double deck shale shaker and a centrifugal pump are included in GNMS-1500D Pipe Jacking Slurry Separation Desander Plant.

The desanding plant includes 2 no. of 14 inch desander cyclone. The cyclone desander is made according to the separation principle of the solid in the fluid rotating in the desander, which integrates swirling flow and filtration. Desanding hydrocyclones are widely used in water treatment and drilling fluid solid control systems in various petroleum and non petroleum fields. Realize turbidity removal and solid-liquid separation.

2022.01.18 GNMS-1500D Desander Plant

Double deck shale shaker is used under the desander cyclone. The bottom deck is used as solids separation shale shaker. The upper deck shale shaker is used after desander cyclone. The dirty mud will be pumped to the bottom shale shaker for coarse separation, and sand will be discharged. The drilling mud will fall down to the sand trap under the shale shaker. And the the drilling mud in the sand trap will be pumped to the desander cyclones for further separation. As desander cyclone is not a 100% separation device, the upper deck shale shaker is used after desander cyclone for further separation.

Centrifugal pumps are used as feeding pump for desander cyclones, and used as transfer pump.

GN Solids and Liquid Separation Equipment for Canada Dredging Slurry Dewatering

After over 2-month hard working, last week, 1 package of solids and liquid separation equipment are ready for shipment. The separation equipment are designed together with an Canadian design company for a Municipal Engineering Project for the dredging slurry dewatering treatment.

Below are the major separation equipment included in the dredging slurry separation project:

2022.01.12 Desander Desilter

1. There are 2 sets of double deck shale shaker equipped for the 1st stage separation. The shale shaker model is GNZS706. The upper deck of the shale shaker is equipped with bigger opening steel frame screens to remove the big materials in the waste water, such as plastic, rubbers, rocks, shoes, etc…The botton deck of the shale shaker use relative fine screens to remove smaller solids above a certain size.

2. After the 2 shale shakers, there is a desander mud cleaner, the model is GNZS703F-2S. There are 2 no. 10 inch desander cone above a linear motion shaler shaker GNZS703F. The shale shaker use fine screens. The desander mud cleaner with 10 inch desander cone can be used to remove the particles above 50 microns.

3. After desander, it is a desilter mud cleaner. The desilter model is GNZS703F-12N. There are 12 qty of desilter cone above a linear motion shale shaker GNZS703F. The screens used for desilter mud cleaner is finer than desander mud cleaner. The desilter mud cleaner with 4 inch desilter cone can remove particles above 27 microns.

2021.01.12 Decanter Centrifuge

4. The major precision separation equipment in the system is a 30 inch big bowl decanter centrifuge. The model is GNLW764A-VFD. It is the largest bowl decanter centrifuge made by GN Solids Control. The centrifuge bowl is up to 30 inch. And the bowl length is up to 3328mm. It is used to remove the ultra fine solids in the slurry and for dewatering treatment.

5. There are 3 qty liquid solids separation mud tank.

Screw conveyors and centrifugal pumps are used in the system for solids and liquid transfer.

GN Oil Sludge Treatment System for tank cleaning, refinery and drilling waste

GN Oil Sludge Treatment System is to use chemical to wash the oil sludge with heat to temperature of 60-70 C degree. After washing, the waste oil slurry is pumped to GN separation equipment to separate into oil, water and solids. The recycled water can be reused in the washing process, and the oil is clean enough to sell to the refinery company, the solids contain less than 2% oil which can be sent to biodegradation or thermal unit for final disposal if needed.

Below are some important points operators need to pay attention to while using GN oil sludge treatment system.

2020.03.12 Oil Sludge Treatment Equimpent

1. During shale shaker separation, clients should choose fine screens to remove particles up to 500 microns. It means all particles above 500 microns must be removed. It is to protection the centrifuges after shale shaker separation.

2. As disc centrifuge is easy to be blocked, the waste slurry enter into disc centrifuge must with solids less than 200 microns, and with less solids content. In this reason, 2-phase decanter centrifuge is used before disc centrifuge to further remove solids and reduce the solids content.

Why disc entrifuge is easy to be blocked, but clients still prefer to use it for water treatment and oil sludge treatment?

The reason is that, the clearance between the discs of the disc centrifuge is very small, which ensures that the separation is fine, and the solid particles can also be separated, so as to obtain a clearer liquid phase, which is the advantage of the disc centrifuge compared with other types of centrifuges, like decanter centrifuge.

However, the small disc gap requires more frequent manual cleaning and slag removal. If the manual cleaning and flushing of the flushing pump are not timely, the disc centrifuge is easy to be blocked during operation. This is the major disadvantages of the disc player. Operators can compare the advantages and disadvantages and make their decision to suit their job site situation.

3. The oil content in the solids which is discharged from decanter centrifuge is 1 ~ 3%.

4.15m3/h oil sludge treatment system adapts double deck shale shaker. The upper deck use steel frame screens with bigger opens. The bottom deck use fine API screen, API 40 is recommended for the bottom deck.

5. The oil content in the recovered water which is discharged from disc centrifuge is 1000 – 3000ppm. If clients want more clean water with less oil and soil, clients can add a water treatment unit after GN oil sludge separation system.

Centrifugal Mud Pump and oilfield Centrifuge for International drilling company

Centrifugal mud pump and decanter centrifuge is widely used at drilling rig job site. The centrifugal pump and oilfield centrifuge can be used in drilling mud solids control system and drilling waste management system.
Last week, GN Solids Control finished a batch of centrifugal pump pump and oil field centrifuge. The pumps and centrifuges will be shipped to an international drilling company.

2021.12.27 Decanter Centrifuge

There are 2 sets high speed decanter centrifuge included in the project. The centrifuge model is GNLW363CG. It is a 14 inch bowl size 2-phase separation decanter centrifuge. GNLW363CG decanter centrifuge is most popular used in oil and gas drilling mud systems. The 14 inch decanter centrifuge can adapt middle speed for barite recovery, or high speed for fine solids separation and dewatering treatment. Beside fixed speed decanter centrifuge, GN Solids Control can also offer VFD control decanter centrifuge and FHD centrifuge.

Except for 14 inch decanter centrifuge, GN Solids Control is capable to make mini size centrifuge 9 inch, big size centrifuge 18 inch, 22 inch, and huge size centrifuge 30 inch. Few company have the capability to make 30 inch huge size centrifuge, GN Solids Control is among the few manufacturers.

2021.12.27 Drilling Centrifugal Pump
GN Solids Control makes various sizes centrifugal pump for various applications. Clients choose the right model based on their material type, and their demands on transfer distance, flow capacity, lifting head, and so on. In this project, the client choose 3 different models of centrifugal pump. The pumps will be used for trip tanks, for water tank, for pill tank, for mud mixing tanks, and for suction tank.
