A mud cleaner, also known as a desilter or desander, is a piece of equipment used in the oil and gas drilling industry to separate solids from drilling fluid. Drilling fluid, also called mud, is a crucial component in the drilling process. It serves several purposes, including cooling the drill bit, carrying drilled cuttings to the surface, and providing stability to the wellbore.
