Many facilities are working on processing the contaminated water to make water and the removed solids reusable and safe for disposal. When talking about the contaminated water, the polluted river and lake water as well as the industrial water are always concerned. How to find a good solution to processing the water with a significantly lower cost and high efficiency is the most critical issue that the operator thinking about.
Here the dewatering system would be an ideal choice for this process. This rapid dewatering system is including several modules which separately functions various processing job. The theory of the process is to remove as find solids from the contaminated water as possible, which will need several kinds of separation equipment.
For the first part to remove the coarse debris and sand, the solids control equipment would be an excellent solution. It may require a coarse screen shaker which is used to remove, dry and stockpile bulky debris from the dredge slurry, such as rocks, shells, cans and vegetation. The underflow going through the screen would be pumped to the de-sanding unit for further treatment. The de-sanding unit uses the hydrocyclones to separate the sand by size and weight. After flocculation, the slurry would be transferred to a screen system to remove the ultra fine solids including the clays, silts and organics. This screen system adapts the fine screen which is always 200 mesh. Lots of contaminants are bound in the resulting flocculated mass and isolated from the return water. The screen system gravity feeds the flocculated material into another patented device which could secondarily realize the isolation and leave the stackable, truckable solids and clear discharged water.
